Career choices begin to take shape at school. With this approach, Metinvest Polytechnic has started its series of outreach meetings in various communities. The first stop on the route was the Shyroke community, where the university representatives talked with final-year students. The meeting took place in Lyceum No. 2 and it was dedicated to a conscious career choice. Future applicants got to know about professions in the industries of the future, modern engineering and technical fields, as well as the opportunity to combine studying with their first career steps even before receiving a diploma. During the discussion, speakers told students about the requirements for admission to the university. The main requirement is taking the National Multi-subject Test (NMT); for people in privileged categories and internally displaced persons, a simplified procedure is available. 15 New Products Launched by Zaporizhzhia Reractories in 2025

Metinvest's Consolidated Iron Ore paid UAH 5.2 billion in Taxes and Fees in 2025

Metinvest’s Northern, Central and Inhulets Iron Ore Plants continue to support the country’s economy during the war. Over the 12 months of the last year, the plants transferred UAH 5.2 billion to budgets at all levels.The principal source of budget revenues in 2025 was the fee for the use of subsoil resources, which amounted to UAH 2.4 billion. Andriy Zhuk has been appointed General Director of Zaporizhzhia Refractories of Metinvest Group.Andriy Zhuk has over 30 years of experience in steelmaking industry. As part of scheduled maintenance, a planned replacement of a mill was carried out at Metinvest’s Central Iron Ore

In accordance with the approved schedule of planned repairs, the drum of ball mill #121 was replaced at the ore beneficiation plant of Central Iron Ore, and routine repairs were carried out on the associated process equipment.In total, 49 hours are allocated, in accordance with the regulations, for the repair crews and the process personnel of the ore beneficiation plant at Central Iron Ore to dismantle the worn drum and install a serviceable one. The ‘Safe Workplace’ programme at Zaporizhstal is a tool for the systematic management of production‑related risks. As part of this programme, workspaces are analysed, potential hazards are identified, and preventive measures are taken to eliminate them before they can lead to injuries or accidents. This involves not merely oversight, but the constant improvement of working conditions, taking into account actual production processes. It is for this purpose that workplace audits are carried out regularly under the programme. In 2025, such inspections were carried out in all the plant’s workshops – more than 11,000 audits in total. Metinvest Paid UAH 18.7 Billion in Taxes to Ukraine’s Budget in 2025

Metinvest has helped sustain the country’s economy during the nearly four years of the full-scale war. Including associated companies and joint ventures, the Group paid UAH 18.7 billion in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels in Ukraine in 2025.The largest contribution was the subsoil use fee, totalling UAH 4.6 billion. This was followed by UAH 3.5 billion in unified social contribution payments, with the UAH 3.2 billion paid in personal income tax ranking third.In addition, Metinvest’s Ukrainian enterprises paid UAH 1.9 billion in corporate income tax and UAH 690 million in environmental tax last year.
