As part of the programme, two more coking chamber walls are planned to be relined in 2024. The repair of a quenching car, upgrade of auxiliary platforms and railway tracks is also performed at COB #2.Despite the proximity of the frontline and other challenges associated with the full-scale war, the plant continues its stable work to provide steelmakers with high-quality coke. Zaporizhstal has completed the first stage of the overhaul of blast furnace #3. Metinvest-Promservice specialists have successfully replaced the upper gas shut-off valve.– The gas cut-off valve is designed to equalise the pressure between the atmosphere and the blast furnace space.
