Війна несе за собою не лише фізичні рани, але й глибокі душевні травми тим, чиїх рідних і коханих забрала смерть на полі бою. Для жінок, які втратили своїх синів і чоловіків, шлях до психологічного одужання особливо складний і довготривалий. Саме тому так важливо підтримати їх і дати шанс відшукати нові сили жити далі. Steel Front constructs 200 km of fortification structures in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions

Metinvest Group continues to construct fortification structures for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the frontline as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative. The total length of defence constructions has reached over 200 km.The construction of engineering and fortification structures is being carried out in cooperation with the military and civil-military administrations in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia areas. In addition to the company's specialists, Metinvest is providing materials and special equipment to construct defence lines to prevent the enemy from advancing.In total, Metinvest supplied 20.7 cubic metres of timber, 100.3 square metres of geotextiles and mesh to reinforce trenches. The fortification structures were built using 43 "kryivkas" – underground shelters, which the company manufactures using corrugated steel. Kamet-Steel: industrial tourism for young people from all over Ukraine

A sharing of experience for youth has been held in Kamianske recently as part of the national VidNOVA:UA programme, which brought together young people under the age of 35 from different regions of Ukraine. For five days, the guests of the city explored the cultural peculiarities of Dnipropetrovsk region and Kamianske in particular, learning about its history and traditions. Oplich HUB community centre in Zaporizhzhia provides psychological counseling to Ukrainians

Metinvest to Provide Recreational Activities for 100 Children of Military Employees and Veterans this Summer

This summer, Metinvest Group’s “Saving Lives” humanitarian initiative will organise recreational activities for 100 children of employees at the Group’s Ukrainian enterprises. Gold Star of Metinvest awardee Ivan Kovtun: "The award is an affirmation that what I am doing is right and needed and serves as a powerful motivation to keep moving forward."

The gold star has become a true highlight in the already extensive array of awards held by 37-year-old Ivan Kovtun, head of the drilling site at Northern Iron Ore's Pershotravnevyi open-pit mine. He has been working at the plant for 12 years. Since 2013, the miner's achievements have been recognised annually at various levels: with certificates of merit from the company's general directors, letters of appreciation from Metinvest Group's CEO, Northern Iron Ore's Man of the Year award, acknowledgements from the district and the city, among others. Ivan has twice been selected as a prize winner at the International Mining and Metals Science and Technology Conference in Mariupol and Zaporizhzhia.
