“Most of my colleagues stayed in touch with me when I was in the Ukrainian armed forces. Such things are very helpful”

Ruslan Sutkovyi, a Zaporizhstal employee, returned from the war to the plant and decided to pursue higher education, which he had not completed 13 years ago, alongside his work. Metinvest Group supports IDP families in communities during the war

With the support of Metinvest, the lyceum in Novyi Starodub village of Petrivka community underwent major repairs. Now the institution will be able to accommodate about one and a half hundred internally displaced persons if necessary. The work was carried out under a memorandum of cooperation between Metinvest's Central GOK, NGO "Kryvyi Rih Foundation for the Future" and Petrivka Village Council.Since the beginning of the war, the Petrivka community has become a second home for more than 2,000 Ukrainians from the frontline regions. PJSC "Kamet-Steel" is relining the Basic Oxygen Furnace #1

Repair work on Basic Oxygen Furnace #1 is underway in the Basic Oxygen Furnace Shop. The main task is the complete replacement of the refractory lining and the restoration of key mechanical units, repair interventions which are impossible during the operation of the unit. First of all, more than 800 tons of refractories, the service life of which has expired, will be replaced. Zaporizhstal's employees handed over restored vehicles to the frontline

Metinvest's enterprises in Zaporizhzhia continue to help the military as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative by repairing heavy equipment and vehicles.Thus, Zaporizhstal's employee at the overhaul and repair depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have restored several large vehicles – one MAZ and two KamAZ trucks - and have already handed them over to our defenders."We have done a fairly large amount of work, involving many people. Metinvest to spend UAH 50 million for social and economic development of Kamianske

Metinvest Group has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Social and Economic Development with the Kamianske City Council.
