Business process reshuffle at the consolidated ore mining and processing plant (GZK) has freed some members of the Ingulets GZK team, offering them spots at other Metinvest businesses, mostly other GZKs. In July, 100+ Ingulets GZK employees of various occupation used this opportunity and moved to other enterprises, while retaining their salaries and benefits and now receiving an additional bonus for rotation. The workflow transformation at three mining and processing plants was prompted by reduced loads at Ingulets GZK due to significant power supply limitations, increased costs because of forced electricity imports, and high cost of ore concentrate production. In current conditions, this lowered the plant’s output. A new batch of buggy vehicles manufactured from Metinvest-SMC steel products has been sent to the front line. In total, as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front initiative, Ukrainian soldiers received 149 mobile vehicles free of charge.At the request of the Southern Operational Command, Metinvest-SMC began shipping its steel products back in the beginning of 2023. Back then, 3.8 tonnes of rolled products were required to produce a first batch of ten buggy vehicles. Free swimming lessons are held three times a week for the defenders of Ukraine.In mid-July, with the support of Metinvest and Zaporizhstal, a Free Waves rehabilitation project for war veterans and military personnel was launched in Zaporizhzhia.
