Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of soldiers in the defence forces has increased almost sixfold from 250,000 to 1.2 million. 24-hour pit stop: Metinvest's Central GOK holds annual maintenance day

Metinvest's Central GOK held a 24-hour shutdown of its Technical Power Supply Shop and Slurry Department, crushing and beneficiation plant of the enterprise, during which important repairs and inspections of equipment were carried out. Furthermore, Pelletizing Plant underwent scheduled preventive maintenance. Every year, the enterprise plans and carries out 24-hour shutdowns of shops to carry out repair of power, process and mechanical equipment, aimed at preventing of unscheduled shutdowns and providing technical water to subdivisions of the enterprise throughout the year. This measure has a significant impact on the stability of operations and fulfilment of production tasks. Провідного інженера відділу головного енергетика Метінвест Січсталі Дениса Кононюка сильно вразила трагедія, яка сталася на Північному ГЗК 8 липня, коли у будівлю управління влучила російська ракета і 50 колег отримали поранення, а десятеро, на жаль, загинули. Спеціаліст не вагаючись вирішив передати частину премії, яку отримав разом із Золотою зіркою до професійного свята, постраждалим від ракетної атаки працівникам, а іншу – направив на потреби української армії.Натепер лікування після отриманих травм ще продовжують дев’ятеро співробітників Північного ГЗК та підрядних організацій, а також одна працівниця Метінвест Бізнес Сервісу. Olha Diachenko: "I was driven to master the profession of metal setter by a desire for self-fulfilment and a wish to contribute to Kametstal"

Olha Diachenko has been working as a metal setter at Kametstal's rolling mill for a few months. She is the first woman at the enterprise to master this complex and responsible profession, which has long been considered exclusively male.Olha has spent 27 years working at Kametstal, mostly in rolling production. She's an experienced rolling mill operator. After working in another department for some time, she longed to return to her favourite rolling mill. Metinvest Builds First Steel Underground Hospital on Front Line for Ukraine’s Army for UAH20 Million

As part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front initiative, Metinvest Group in coordination with medical forces group “East”, has created the country’s first underground stabilisation centre for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence to save the lives of defenders on the front line.The underground hospital is based on steel “hideout” bunkers developed by Metinvest, which have been modernised and structurally modified to meet the needs of military medics. It is equipped to the standards of a second-echelon field hospital (Role/Echelon 2) in accordance with NATO standards. Metinvest’s investment in its construction and equipment exceeded UAH20 million.The steel hospital provides intensive care, treatment and support for patients until their discharge or evacuation to another inpatient medical facility. Life-saving equipment: new defibrillators installed at Zaporizhstal medical stations

The speed and quality of medical care can directly impact a person’s health and survival. When it comes to cardiac arrest, the outcome is literally decided in the first few minutes. Medical personnel must act quickly to perform resuscitation and restore the heartbeat. For this reason, every medical station at Zaporizhstal is equipped with modern defibrillators.Recently, new defibrillators were installed at the medical stations in the blast furnace shop, the slag processing shop, the hot rolling mill, and section No. 3 of the cold rolling mill.
