Планується, що сьогоднішні гості вже наступного року пройдуть в цехах комбінату свою виробничу практику. Західно-Дніпровський центр професійно-технічної освіти знаходиться в Жовтих Водах – місті, яке сусідить із Кривим Рогом і безпосередньо з територіями Північного та Центрального гірничо-збагачувальних комбінатів. Він готує слюсарів з ремонту колісних транспортних засобів та сільськогосподарської техніки, машиністів екскаватора, зварників, електрогазозварників ручного та автоматичного зварювання, водіїв автотранспорту тощо.
