After a break of over six months, Kamet-Steel has resumed pig iron production for foreign customers. Pig iron production at the casting machine area of the blast furnace shop has been restarted to fulfil orders from North American clients. Metinvest enterprises in Zaporizhzhia continues to implement a programme to support employees whose homes were damaged as a result of hostile attacks. To date, the amount of financial support provided has exceeded UAH 3 million.The programme of housing restoration, damaged after enemy shelling, for teams of Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhcoke, and Zaporizhzhia Casting and Mechanical Plant has been in place since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.Enterprises' hotline operates, allowing employees to request assistance. Depending on the extent of damage to their homes, employees may receive financial support for repairs. On 20 November, Metinvest and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) signed a historic declaration to promote the industrial revitalisation of Piombino through a large green steel production plant. During the first nine months of 2024, Northern GOK, Central GOK, and Ingulets GOK of Metinvest transferred UAH 4.7 billion to the state and local budgets.
