Replenishment of National Guard's Printing Shop: Metinvest Hands Over 3d Printers to Defenders

Metinvest Group has handed over three 3D printers to the National Guard of Ukraine as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative.

Metinvest continues to support Ukrainian defenders under any circumstances. Recently, an important batch of aid was delivered to the National Guard of Ukraine. As part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative, the soldiers received three 3D printers and 18 kilograms of special plastic for printing components.

"Printing components on such printers is a very popular technology among the military now. So, it was not easy to find the equipment, it took us about 1.5 months. Nevertheless, we have purchased the 3D printers, and our defenders are already using them in their own workshops",  Oleksandr MYRONENKO, Chief Operating Officer of Metinvest Group, said.

According to Andrii Beliaev, commander of the 23rd Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 3D printers will be used to quickly print and replace some spare parts that can only be produced with such modern equipment.

"It will primarily be used for automotive vehicles. It will also be used to repair reconnaissance drones used to protect critical state facilities under the responsibility of the National Guard of Ukraine. So, this aid is very valuable to us. We are grateful to Metinvest for its systematic support. We are bringing the Victory closer together!"  Andrii BELIAEV said.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest has spent UAH 4.8 billion to help Ukraine and its citizens. Of this amount, the company has spent over UAH 2.5 billion to the army as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative, making it the largest private donor to the army.
