Metinvest Group supplies Ukraine's defenders with high-quality gear as part of its Steel Front military initiative.

One of the main areas of Metinvest's activities in time of the war is to help Ukrainian defenders. In particular, the company provides bulletproof vests and helmets to its employees mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other soldiers defending their homeland. The gear continues to be delivered to the soldiers.

Recently, 550 bulletproof vests of the 4th class of protection were delivered to the military as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, which can withstand hits from 5.45 and 7.62 calibers. The reliable armor produced by Metinvest will protect the lives of the soldiers who will join the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia.

The soldiers who received the bulletproof vests have already noticed their benefits. The soldiers note that this ammunition is comfortable, lightweight and reliably protects them from bullets and fragments.

– Armor is never in excess. We are very grateful to Metinvest for donating this gear. It is of very good quality. You can see that these vests are of US-standard, 25-by-30 plate. This is what a soldier needs for comfort and reliable protection on the battlefield, –  the soldier with the call sign "Starpom" said.

In addition, as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, the company provides soldiers with protective gear, drones, thermal imagers, shelters, vehicles, special equipment, etc. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest has allocated over UAH 1.5 billion to the army.
