Kamet Steel hands over a batch of armoured vests to mobilized employees

As part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative, Kamet-Steel has handed over another batch of 50 armoured vests to employees mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Each vest is made of Metinvest steel and has a 4th class of protection. This is not the first batch of the gear, that Metinvest has donated to mobilized employees. Earlier, defence workers from Kamet-Steel received over 800 armoured vests for protection at the frontline. One saved life of a Ukrainian soldier means hundreds of saved lives of Ukrainian civilians. In total, Metinvest has already allocated UAH 2 billion to support the Ukrainian army.

Oleksanrd TRETIAKOV, Kamet-Steel Director General:

The steel family of Kamet-Steel is bringing Ukraine's victory closer on all fronts. While our military colleagues are demonstrating courage and endurance on the battlefield, metallurgists are working in the shops and supporting the country's economic stability. I am sincerely grateful to the defenders of Ukraine. We are waiting for everyone at home.
