Metinvest Group donates radioelectronic warfare systems to Avdiivka Military Administration

Metinvest has handed over four radioelectronic warfare systems for vehicles that will evacuate residents of the most dangerous areas in eastern Ukraine. The equipment was delivered to Avdiivka area as part of Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front defence initiative.

Today, radioelectronic warfare equipment is an integral part of both military and civilian operations in the most dangerous locations in the east of the country. Therefore, in order to confuse Russian drones and create a safe environment during the evacuation of civilians, radioelectronic warfare is extremely important. The Avdiivka Military Administration turned to Metinvest Group for the necessary special equipment, and the company continues to provide assistance to protect civilians in areas close to the frontline.

"At the request of the military administration of Avdiivka, Metinvest Group provided radioelectronic warfare systems for vehicles. These systems will enable us to safely evacuate the local population and deliver humanitarian supplies to those people who have decided to stay at home for the time being. This proven equipment has already saved many lives," said Yurii KTSYNENKO, Metinvest Group representative.

Vitalii Barabash, Head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, noted that Metinvest's support is systematic. The company knows the needs and tries to meet them as much as possible.

"We received really useful and necessary equipment from Metinvest. It will be used in the Avdiivka sector. Despite the fact that the city is occupied, many Avdiivka residents still live in Ukrainian villages near the city, in the neighbouring Ocheretynska community. We have to provide them with humanitarian aid, the evacuation of them is still ongoing," said Vitalii BARABASH, Head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration.

Currently, the mortal battles are taking place in Donetsk region, and the highly efficient equipment provided by Metinvest will save both equipment and, most importantly, human lives.
