Soldiers defending the Kherson region have received 20 rubber boats and motors as part of Steel Front, Rinat Akhmetov's defence initiative.

Supporting the Ukrainian army is one of Metinvest's priorities. The company regularly hands over various equipment to the military as part of Steel Front, Rinat Akhmetov's defence initiative. Recently, service members have received 20 boats and motors to help them de-occupy the left bank of the Dnieper.

"All of these things will help us perform combat missions in the Kherson sector and liberate our occupied territories on the left bank of the Dnieper. We are grateful to Metinvest for helping us and sending us important equipment," says a soldier who goes by the call sign Kupol, meaning "dome".

Metinvest has repeatedly provided various types of assistance to the defenders of the Kherson region. In particular, rubber boats were supplied to the soldiers of the 36th Brigade, which is now fighting in the Kherson sector. Subsequently, 500 life jackets were handed over to the marines. Metinvest also purchased thousands of mittens and dry shower packs, hundreds of pairs of gloves, heated socks, energy bars, gas burners, and cylinders worth over UAH 2 million.

Metinvest, both at the beginning of the full-scale war and now, has been assiduously helping Ukrainian soldiers in all sectors - Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. And this assistance will not stop until our absolute Victory," says Oleksandr MYRONENKO, Chief Operations Officer of Metinvest Group.
