Zaporizhcoke allocated more than UAH 15 million to improve working conditions

Metinvest Group's Zaporizhcoke improves working conditions for its employees as part of the Workplace Amenities programme. Recently, the enterprise completed one of the major overhaul stages of the amenities building. The company's investments totalled over UAH 15 million.

In 2024, Zaporizhcoke completed a major overhaul of the premises on the third floor of the amenity building. In the premises, all utility systems were replaced, finishing works were carried out with the laying of tiles, energy-saving window and door units, plumbing fixtures and wardrobes were installed. The total area of the renovated rooms is 1400 m².

“A comfortable working environment is the start and finish of a shift, because it is from the amenity space that our employees' working day begins and ends. Due to the full-scale invasion, the Workplace Amenities programme was temporarily suspended, but in 2023 we continued to overhaul the amenities, allocating over UAH 15 million for this purpose. The modern and cosy premises are designed for more than 200 employees,” said Oleksandr BEKHTER, CEO of Zaporizhcoke.

The Workplace Amenities programme has been implemented at Zaporizhcoke since 2012. During this time, the plant allocated approximately UAH 52 million to bring its amenities in line with the best practices of culture and workplace environment.
