Teachers of Metinvest Polytechnic Held Communication Meeting with Applicants at Kamet-Steel

As part of the admission campaign to Metinvest Polytechnic, representatives of the university met with employees of Kamet-Steel and their children, graduates of educational institutions in Kamianske.

Teachers told everyone who wanted to get a modern engineering and technical education in one of the leading private universities of Ukraine about the rules of admission to the university, because this year there were changes in the admission campaign. Previously, for most bachelor's and master's degree programmes, it was enough to write an application and prepare a motivation letter. This year, for admission to the bachelor's programme, you will need to pass a national multi-subject test. Instead, Metinvest Polytechnic offers applicants to take courses free of charge and properly prepare for the NMS in four subjects. The company also provides Kamet-Steel employees with the opportunity to learn, improve their skills, and grow in their own professional careers in the future.

"As part of the meeting, we conveyed information about the benefits of studying at Metinvest Polytechnic for Kamet-Steel employees and their children. We give both graduates of educational institutions and employees of the plant the opportunity to study in a convenient format - remotely with elements of dual education and without interrupting work. Our leading university is interested in each of its students, gives guarantees for success both in studies and in the possibility of further employment. Metinvest employees and their children have the opportunity to study at the expense of the company. As before, students are trained according to educational programmes that are in demand in the labour market. Laboratory classes, tutorials and workshops are held directly at Metinvest's enterprises, and this helps to consider applied problems in real production conditions," Oleksii KOIFMAN, Head of the Department of Automation, Electrical and Robotic Systems, Metinvest Polytechnic.

"As before, Metinvest Group is ready to train young people who may become its employees in the near future and move the Ukrainian steel industry forward. Personally, I believe that despite the difficult times in the country, young people should set goals for themselves to get a quality education to build a successful career in the technology industry in the future. Surely, after the victory, for the great reconstruction of our state, Ukraine will need young personnel with qualified education. At Kamet-Steel, the university teachers managed to constructively communicate with applicants who are choosing a profession and tell why it is better to choose Metinvest Polytechnic. After the visit to Kamet-Steel, the representatives of the university will hold communication meetings with students of specialised educational institutions of the city, to whom we also offer to get an education at Metinvest Polytechnic and come to us for employment," said Olga CHUBYCH, Head of the Personnel Development Department of Kamet-Steel.

It is worth reminding that this year the university is carrying out the third enrollment. Students are offered a choice of 16 bachelor's and 18 master's programmes, and Metinvest Polytechnic is also opening a postgraduate programme. In particular, the university offers the following areas of study: metallurgy, mining, materials science, computer science, automation and computer-integrated technologies, environmental protection, mechanical equipment and systems engineering, power supply and electromechanical systems engineering, business analytics, value-based business management, welding, and occupational health and safety. All educational programmes were reviewed by business experts.
