The Responsible Country special project is a kind of almanac of corporate social responsibility in 2022. It includes more than 80 projects. These are the best cases of CSR implementation and communication.

Rinat Akhmetov's Steel Front military initiative has been recognized in the category "Business to Help the Armed Forces". It provides systemic assistance to Ukrainian defenders. SCM's businesses, including Metinvest, are buying equipment, gear, and vehicles, and manufacture bulletproof vests, modular dugouts, field stoves, etc. for the needs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Steel Front's activities are focused on saving the lives of the military and bringing Ukraine's victory closer.

Metinvest Group has recently donated DJI Mavic 3 and Air 2 drones, thermal imagers, EcoFlow multi-charging stations, generators, and sets of winter uniforms and tactical footwear to the Border Guard  and the Defence Intelligence, as part of the military initiative. A short while ago, the soldiers in the Eastern and Southern sectors received a record batch of DJI Mavic 3 drones from the company. The reconnaissance equipment will be delivered to the Land Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and will operate in the hottest spots - in Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar.

The Responsible Country social case ranking also includes the Saving Lives humanitarian project implemented by Metinvest in coordination with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. It has been recognized in the nomination "Corporate Charitable Foundation". Since the beginning of the war, Saving Lives has been providing large-scale assistance to Ukrainians with food, essential items, and medicines, as well as providing prosthetics and psychological rehabilitation to people affected by the enemy aggression.

Internally displaced persons who temporarily live in Zaporizhzhia shelters receive food packages from Saving Lives on a regular basis. Foodstuffs purchased in Europe or provided by partner companies are brought here. In addition, thanks to the cooperation between Saving Lives and Protez Hub, the project to support prosthetics in Ukraine, 28 Ukrainians are already undergoing prosthetics and treatment. In total, nearly 400,000 people have received assistance from the humanitarian initiative.
