Love from a different point of view: the story of the northerners Anastasiia and Yaroslav

In industrial Kryvyi Rih, most residents are, in one way or another, connected with mining and metallurgical enterprises. Tens of thousands of them work as families at Metinvest plants. They quite often meet each other at work. Like the beautiful couple from the Northern GOK, Anastasia Motieva and Yaroslav Dziaduk. Анастасія та Ярослав In 2016, with a new diploma from the Faculty of “Railway Transportation Process Management,” Nastia came to production for the first time. Immediately after the university classroom, it was difficult for the girl to manage many processes at the same time, and mentors helped her gain experience. But among her colleagues who worked at the railway there was one impudent assistant of traction unit operator, Yaroslav, who could some

Oplich Hub helps women who suffer from violence during the war

Gender-based violence in Ukraine has been at the top of the most discussed topics in recent years. Why this issue has become so relevant right now, what trends in solving this problem and the main tips for women were described in more detail by Nataliia Popova, a psychologist at Zaporizhzhia Community Centre "Oplich Hub".What do the statistics say?Earlier in Ukraine, there were jumps in the number of complaints from women who suffered from violence. If we look at the statistics, in 2019 there were 142 thousand complaints, and in 2020 – almost 209 thousand, because there was a COVID-19 epidemic that year. The consequences of the pandemic, which can also be called triggers for aggressive actions, led to a sharp increase in violence by 32%.In 2021, the figure fell to 145 thousand, and in 2022 it jumped again, almost 245 thousand claims. And these are only registered cases that we know about from official sources. Such a jump, in my opinion, is caused by permanent stress from hostilities

The participants were line managers of the plant's divisions. After all, they are the main link between the plant's managers, from whom production tasks are received, and the direct executors – the workforce. That is why it is so important for them to have technical knowledge of the safety of work using lifting mechanisms, to be able to correctly assess possible risks before starting such work and, at the same time, to correctly analyse and provide information to the employees performing the work. These are the areas that are covered in the two-day training sessions led by experienced trainers from Metinvest Polytechnic University. During the first, theoretical part, participants gain new knowledge about the regulatory framework for organising lifting operations. Presentation and video mater
