Kamet-Steel's coke and chemical division began restoration of the coke gas pipeline at the by-product capture shop's site. This repair is part of the gas safety programme for 2025, as instructed by Kamet-Steel's General Director. Restoration of this gas pipeline is critically necessary and important for ensuring safety and uninterrupted operation of the entire by-product capture shop.The gas pipeline is responsible for the uninterrupted coke gas supply, which is a vital energy source for key sections of the shop. In the benzol department, gas is used for heating coal tar wash oil in the tubular furnace, ensures operation of thermal power installations at the cokemaking facility, and is used for dehydration and heating of tar, from which export-grade coal tar pitch is made. During the five-day repair, worn sections of the pipeline will be replaced, and maintenance platforms, shut-off valves, and supporting structures will be repaired.This range of activities will increase the reliabili

In the structure of taxes and duties for this period, the largest deductions were made as a single personal income tax and a single social security tax. The networks and substations shop at Kamet-Steel has begun the first stage of a large-scale major overhaul of a key substation that supplies power to technological processes. As part of the major overhaul, the company plans to upgrade key equipment in order to improve the reliability of energy supply and occupational safety for the networks and substations shop's personnel.Among the key objectives is to replace outdated equipment, which is no longer used in external electrical networks, with modern switching equipment. In particular, disconnectors will be replaced with a new 150 kV gas-insulated circuit breaker. In addition, microprocessor-based relay protection and automation units will replace electromagnetic relays. These are more "sensitive" in terms of protection and provide automated rapid response by the apparatus in case of emergencies. As a young rolling specialist who had just graduated from a metallurgical college, he started working as a hot metal marker.Senior colleagues recall that Artem stood out among newcomers for his constant desire to learn and improve. "I have been working with Artem for years, and I have seen him develop and grow. He is literally a "self-made man". At the premises of the process water and slurry management shop at Northern Iron Ore, construction work on a modern hydrotechnical facility for thickening tailings is ongoing. The complex will allow the plant to reduce costs and lower the environmental burden through decreased energy and water consumption. Metinvest has received a loan amounting to EUR 23.6 mln to purchase professional equipment from Metso Finland for the complex. The loan is guaranteed by the Finnish export credit agency Finnvera. Deutsche Bank is the sole organiser and creditor, which received legal support from the international legal firm Norton Rose Fulbright.The concept of expanding the existing tailings facility at Northern Iron Ore from the elevation +165 metres to elevation +189 metres using tailings thickening technology was approved in 2015. After developing project documentation in March 2021, Metinvest announced the launch one of its largest high-tech projects, managed by Metinvest Sichsteel specialists.

Olena Pavliuk has worked at Metinvest Business Service since its foundation, and has participated in various project teams during her years there. Currently, she heads the Tax Accounting Centre of MBS, and is responsible for calculating and ensuring timely payment of taxes to the state budget for all enterprises served by MBS.
