To date, the amount of financial support provided has exceeded UAH 3 million.The programme of housing restoration, damaged after enemy shelling, for teams of Zaporizhstal, Zaporozhogneupor, Zaporizhcoke, and Zaporizhzhia Casting and Mechanical Plant has been in place since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.Enterprises' hotline operates, allowing employees to request assistance. Depending on the extent of damage to their homes, employees may receive financial support for repairs. Those in need of temporary accommodation can stay at Metinvest's social facilities in Zaporizhzhia while their homes are being repaired.As a part of the programme, over 100 houses of Metinvest's employees in Zaporizhzhia were restored. Having someone nearby who can properly respond and assist in the first minutes of an injury or health crisis until the ambulance arrives significantly increases the chances of survival and successful recovery.All Metinvest enterprises regularly train their staff in first aid. This is especially important today, as the usual risks are compounded by the additional risks brought about by the war. Recently, with Oleksandr Myronenko at the helm, employees of Metinvest's Operations Directorate have been learning life-saving skills. Professional instructors from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society have conducted a six-hour training for them.The First Responder program is designed for employees of government agencies, such as the National Police, State Emergency Service, and Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose job responsibilities include first aid. On 20 November, Metinvest and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) signed a historic declaration to promote the industrial revitalisation of Piombino through a large green steel production plant. During the first nine months of 2024, Northern GOK, Central GOK, and Ingulets GOK of Metinvest transferred UAH 4.7 billion to the state and local budgets.
