The HR Pro Awards is the most prestigious award in the HR sector. It annually recognises the best team and individual achievements of HR professionals working in large-, medium- and small-sized Ukrainian businesses.
The main goal of the HR Pro Awards is not only to recognize the winners among HR professionals but also to tell about their implemented projects, thus contributing to the dissemination of the most successful experience and raising the level of professional HR practices in our country.
The HR Pro Awards-2024 ceremony took place on October 24 in Kyiv. It took the expert jury almost two months to study all the submitted cases to determine the winning projects in 13 nominations among several hundred participants.
This year, two of Metinvest Group's nominated projects reached the final of the competition: the “HR Function Robotization” project in the Digital Work Environment category and “Analytical Models of Social Infrastructure,” which won the HR Analytics category and was named the best project in its category.

Metinvest Group includes not only production and repair facilities, but also social infrastructure and services provided for its employees: canteens, boarding houses, landscaping, transportation by corporate buses, bathhouses, etc It is a large, branched out establishment, and the efficiency of its management directly affects comfortable working conditions of its employees. Special analytical models for managing social infrastructure and services help to manage it, replacing the old complex system that consisted of various recording systems and thousands of Excel spreadsheets in various formats.

For example, the current state of administrative and amenity facilities and investments planned for their maintenance and repair per each enterprise, the rating of the quality of the services provided by partners and complaints on them, planned and actual expenditures on social and amenity facilities, and much more All of this allows us to make prompt and transparent management decisions on the development of social infrastructure and services, interaction with partners, and creation of the most comfortable working conditions for employees.

Metinvest Group is rapidly digitalizing various processes, including those related to HR. Thus, to improve the productivity and quality of the HR function, reduce the time spent on customer servicing (Metinvest employees), and make various HR services more convenient for them, the company has implemented a project of HR function robotization The idea is to automate some of the routine processes performed by HR specialists by shifting some of them to so-called digital employees – robots.
Today, many processes in the company are carried out without the direct involvement of an HR specialist: arranging leaves, absences, changing work schedules, annual staff evaluation, etc This allows the company to free up people's resources for tasks that require their expertise and creativity.
