Metallurgy inspires not only professional achievements. For many, it becomes a source of life experience, which finds its continuation in new hobbies and creativity.

This is how Pavlo Petrenko describes his work at the Zaporizhstal plant, who today talks about his profession in the language of poetry.
Pavlo's professional career at the plant began in 2003 after graduating from technical school. For the first four years, he worked as a charger in the open-hearth shop. Later, he returned to Zaporizhstal as an engineer in the raw materials supply department, where he rose to the position of bureau chief. Subsequently, he strengthened the Zaporizhvognetriv team, where he was also responsible for the supply of raw materials.
The acquired knowledge and experience have become a solid basis for further professional development in other fields.
– Thanks to my work at Zaporizhstal, I got the opportunity to constantly learn something new. I have always accepted offers for development – both professional and personal. And now I can say that it was one of the most interesting periods of my life, – says Pavlo.
At the end of 2024, he started to write poetry. According to him, poems became an opportunity to convey his own thoughts, feelings, and memories that he wanted to preserve.
– Poetry for me is an opportunity to communicate with myself and with people. Through poems, you can return to good times, ask questions, rethink what you have experienced. This is a kind of journey into memory and soul that you want to capture forever.
