Liubov Shyshkova, a gantry crane operator of pumping, compressor and crane units section at CG "Pokrovs'ke" is a creative person. After work, she finds time not only to relax, but also for her favourite hobby - knitting.
Liubov Tymofiivna fell in love with knitting as a child, watching her neighbor skillfully manipulating knitting needles and threads. And then, out of these intricate patterns, a new beautiful and exclusive thing comes into being. The girl also wanted to try knitting, so she asked the woman to teach her the basics of needlework. Over time, she began to master this craft on her own.
Today, her collection of knitted items includes many beautiful sweaters, lace blouses, stylish dresses and other types of clothing and home shoes. There are even outfits for the family's little pet, a Yorkie dog.
- I love to knit. It gives me pleasure not only from the process itself, but also from the fact that I can give joy to all my family members with things I have made with my own hands, - the craftswoman says. - Fashion, as we know, does not stand still. It is thanks to this hobby that one can create unique models by combining different colors and styles.
Liubov Tymofiivna admits that her favorite pastime is also a way to relieve stress and painful memories. It was not easy for the woman and her family. The war took away from her, her husband and daughters what they had been working for years to achieve: their favorite job, their home in Volnovakha district, and everything they had.
In the spring, the family of Mrs.Liuba began to build a new life in peaceful Pokrovske. Together with her daughter Iryna, she got a job at Colliery Group "Pokrovs'ke". Her experience at Velykoanadolsk Refractory Plant and more than forty years as a crane operator came in handy in her new job. Now Liubov Tymofiivna is applying her skills at a large and modern enterprise and is grateful to the mine management and Metinvest Group for their constant care and attention. The woman receives compensation for rent and humanitarian food packages. And the biggest thank you is for the opportunity to work in the profession you love and earn a decent wage.
Of course, due to her constant work, Liubov Shyshkova has almost no free time for knitting. But as soon as she has a minute, she picks up knitting needles and threads. Her favourite pastime helps her to stay optimistic and stimulates her to new creative achievements.
