The solemn events were held at the Unbreakable Hub of the "Orbit" Cultural Centre and in the workshops of the enterprise.
Zaporizhstal employees received congratulations from representatives of regional and local authorities, as well as from the management of the company and the plant. In total, during the celebrations, 102 employees of Zaporizhstal, five best teams and the labour dynasty of the enterprise were awarded with individual awards.
Metinvest Group's Chief Operations Officer Oleksandr Myronenko thanked the company's teams for their professionalism and dedication. Certificates of Merit from Metinvest Chief Executive Officer and certificates for improving workplace welfare were received by the five best subdivisions of Zaporizhstal: blast furnace, oxygen and compressor, hot rolling shop, metallurgical equipment repair shop No. 1 and railway transport department.
Tetiana Petruk, Chief Sustainability Officer of Metinvest Group, also joined the congratulations. The letter of gratitude from Metinvest Chief Executive Officer was awarded to five Zaporizhstal employees who set an example for colleagues with their work.

A special pride of the enterprise with a 92-year history is its working families, which instill respect and love for the profession in new generations. This year, the honorary title of "Golden Dynasty of Metinvest" was awarded to the Korotkykh-Kulbako family, whose work experience crossed the mark of 405 years.
The medal "For the Development of the Zaporizhzhia Region" and the diploma of the Zaporizhzhia State Administration were awarded to eight Zaporizhstal employees. The awards were presented by the First Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ruslan MOVCHAN, who emphasized that Zaporizhzhia cannot be imagined without metallurgy:
"Zaporizhzhia has always been and remains a city of metallurgists. It is thanks to you that enterprises work, the city lives, and the economy of the region remains stable. Thank you to everyone for their professionalism, responsibility and daily work. I wish everyone peace, good health and new professional achievements."

On behalf of the city authorities, the employees of the industry were congratulated by the Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Regina KHARCHENKO:
"Today, Zaporizhzhia produces about a quarter of all steel products in Ukraine, and this is a really impressive figure. We believe that after the victory, we will be able not only to maintain, but also to increase this potential. We all remember the scale with which our city celebrated the Metallurgist's Day, and I am sure that this time will definitely return. After all, metallurgists deserve the highest honour, respect and gratitude."

Among the award winners is the locomotive driver of Zaporizhstal railway transport department Stepan Vilkov, who was awarded the medal "For the Development of the Zaporizhzhia Region".
"This is my first professional recognition, so it is especially valuable for me. It is very nice when your work is noticed and highly appreciated. This motivates you to work even better, develop and move on to new professional achievements," Stepan VILKOV shared.
Another 220 employees who devoted more than 20 years of their lives to their native enterprise received the title of "Honorary Worker of Zaporizhstal".
