We are working. We are helping. We are getting prepared

The end of the week is a great time to work and talk about the work)). The work of Metinvest 's enterprises, the battle on the economic and humanitarian fronts.

As always, such a story is verbose, but it is worth it. Read, know and tell others, share so that everyone knows that

We are not stopping and we keep working where possible. We continue production, because this is the life of the country. It is the Ukraine's ability to have the strength to fight, to defend itself.

Yes, some production sites have been shutdown. This was done for the safety of workers. For the safety of production, which we will restore in the future. Soon.

Therefore, – about Mariupol

A couple of days ago, a video about the shelling of Azovstal has spread in social media, the "PR" began on the fact that there is no a plant any longer.

Yeah. A great topic for PR. I can't figure out what the goal was? Imaginary popularity? Or coverage and the number of views? Not the right time, IMHO...

So, FOR EVERYONE – a direct speech by Enver Tskitishvili, General Director of Azovstal about the shelling and the situation at the plant.

“It's too early to bury the plant. Moreover, we will rebuild and restore everything. We have the skills, we have had the experience. In 2014-15, when Avdiivka Coke was subjected to shelling, and we stopped and re-launched the plant dozens of times. And in the Second World War - almost 80 years ago, Azovstal had to recover and became even better.”

Zaporizhia

WE ARE HELPING.

The main shops have been switched to hot conservation mode at Zaporizhstal, ZaporizhCoke, ZLMZ, and Zaporizhogneupor.

Did the plant stop? Nope. It just became different.

Today I would call it "Zaporizhia Help" Humanitarian Plant.

Metinvest Group's main humanitarian coordination centre has been set up here. Jointly with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation we receive, sort, aggregate and send a variety of humanitarian aid to all those who need it most. Primarily, refugees and victims. However, this is another story – I will tell separately what, where and how)

Thus, Zaporizhstal, still works)

WE ARE GETTING PREPARED.

We are getting prepared for the recovery. Therefore, we support the operation of the main equipment units in order to quickly and safely restart the work of Zaporizhzhia production facilities.

In the cover photo – specialist workers of the blast furnace shop. Read about them here.

Everyone, who does his or her job today – diligently and professionally – is a hero.

Everything will be Ukraine!
