The powerful blast furnaces of Zaporizhstal today have been forced sit idle. The main units of the blast furnace shop are in hot conservation mode. 

The employees of the plant believe in the victory of Ukraine and perceive the temporary shutdown as a forced pause before pursuing new achievements. In order to ensure the resumption of production in the future, Zaporizhstal’s specialist workers are supporting the operation of the main units in hot conservation mode.

Blast furnace operators control the main performance indicators of the furnaces, which, even while idled, need energy. The plant’s skilled professionals are doing everything necessary to restore its functioning and plan to restart the production of iron at the earliest opportunity.
