The staff of Ingulets GOK celebrated the 59th anniversary of the entererprise founding

This year, for the third time, Ingulets GOK celebrates the anniversary of its foundation in wartime. For the team, this is another year-long step on the way to victory. On the occasion of the enterprise's birthday, Ingulets workers were honoured for collective and personal achievements.

Awards from Metinvest and the enterprise were presented to the miners by Ihor Toniev, Director of the Mining Department, General Director of InGOK of Metinvest Group.

«59 years is an important date for everyone who works at Ingulets GOK, who has connected their lives with the plant. InGOK is the pride of Metinvest, one of the most powerful enterprises in the entire mining industry of the country. And this is thanks to the work of the team, which today remains in the workplace with faith in the company, in Ukraine, in the future. This is the undeniable merit of the veterans who laid the foundation for the enterprise to work today. I am sincerely grateful to everyone, because you, the miners, are the embodiment of the dignity of a working person. I wish everyone victory, peace, stable work and prosperity," said Ihor TONIEV in his address to the team.

A well-deserved collective award – a Certificate of Merit from Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest Group – was received by Ingulets railway workers. In today's difficult conditions, despite the restrictions on electricity consumption, the team during the year gave one hundred percent fulfilment of production plans for the transportation of rock mass and shipment of concentrate, complied with labour protection requirements, studied new types of work on the repair and maintenance of contact networks and tracks. The award and certificate for the improvement of amenities in the railway shop were received by its head Oleksandr Mukha.

Process vehicle shop is also among the leaders of the enterprise, in particular, the unit repair section. The head of the shop, Viktor Miroshnychenko, thanked his colleagues for their professionalism and endurance.

"The employees of the process vehicle shop were entrusted with a great responsibility to maintain production, vehicles and equipment at the proper level. And despite the fact that more than 150 of our employees joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, those who remained learned to work both for themselves and for them. They go on the line every day and give a plan. Thank you for doing a good job at the end of 2023, when we were given a task to increase production volumes. We have once again proved that we are worthy of the title of industry leaders," said Viktor MIROSHNYCHENKO.

For an active public position and on the occasion of the Foundation Day of InGOK, 15 employees of the plant were awarded letters of gratitude. Valentyn Zhuravskyi, an electrician on duty and for the repair of equipment of the Open pit mine workshop, is among the awardees. For 17 years in a row, he has been performing high-quality repairs of excavators, drilling rigs and other equipment in the open pit mine.

"During a full-scale war, there is a shortage of people and an increase in workload, but we must withstand this test. And do not forget to help our military with everything we can, to support relatives, the elderly and those who, due to circumstances, had to leave their homes and leave the country," Valentyn ZHURAVSKYI shared his opinion.

The trade union members of the primary organisation of the Metallurgy and Mining Industry of Ukraine of Ingulets GOK also got back to work with awards. Ruslan Budnik, a mill operator at the ore processing plant No. 2, is fluent in his profession. He came to the company after his father and has remained faithful to the cause for 27 years.

"Now it's hard for everyone: both at the front and at the enterprise. But we believe in ourselves and understand that our concentrate is needed to fill the country's economy. The taxes paid by InGOK are our contribution to the victory," Ruslan BUDNIK is sure.

For their support and comprehensive assistance, the workers of Ingulets GOK were awarded a letter of appreciation from neighbouring communities and from the military, with whom they keep in touch on a regular basis.
