Kamet Steel transferred nearly UAH 2 billion to budgets at all levels over the course of the year

For the fourth year amid war threats and energy challenges, Kamet Steel has remained a strong pillar of the Ukrainian economy and the main contributor to the city budget. In 2025, the metallurgical enterprise transferred more than  UAH 1 billion 957 million in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels. 

The budget of the city of Kamianske received over UAH 744 million from Kamet Steel, which is UAH 105 million more than in 2024. More than UAH 1 billion 213 million was transferred to the regional and state budgets.  

The lion’s share of tax revenues to the local and state treasuries from the city’s leading metallurgical enterprise in 2025 was provided by: 

– the single social tax, which amounted to nearly  UAH 588 million(+28% vs 2024)  

– personal income tax – nearly UAH 502 million UAH (+27% vs 2024) 

– land tax, which increased by almost UAH 44 million compared with 2024 and effectively amounted to nearly UAH 430 million (+11% vs 2024). 

Environmental tax payments for the 12 months of 2025 amounted to over UAH 146 million.

Last year, our contributions to the city budget increased by 16% compared with 2024 and now constitute a significant share of all local revenues. For the city, this means the stable operation of hospitals, the functioning of municipal services, and the implementation of priority programmes. As part of Metinvest Group, we convert every tonne of steel into the financial strength of our state." 

In 2025, Metinvest Group, including its associated companies and joint ventures, paid UAH 18.7 billion in taxes and fees to Ukrainian budgets at all levels.
