Specialists from Metinvest Iron Ore Plants recruitment, training and staff development department took part in a large interactive career guidance event, ‘profSTART’, held recently in Dnipro in a workshop format for young people.

The meeting was organised by FCA as part of a long-term resilience programme with financial support from Education Cannot Wait, in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science.
The workshops welcomed 250 students from various vocational schools and colleges. The event helped young people navigate the modern job market and get answers to questions about work and future careers.
"Such events create an open dialogue between business and education and foster young people’s professional growth through a combination of learning, mentorship, direct interaction with employers and immersion in real production processes,” said Liudmyla SOLOD, head of Metinvest Iron Ore Plants recruitment, training and staff development department. We introduced workshop guests to the opportunities offered by Metinvest Group, helped those interested choose a future profession, explained current job requirements, gave expert advice and provided guidance on starting a successful career at Metinvest Group enterprises. The guests had the chance to take VR tours and join interactive promotional activities. We also gave students the opportunity to apply for internships and practical training.
Alongside Metinvest, representatives of other Ukrainian companies also took part in the workshops: DTEK, ArcelorMittal, "Ukrnafta", Interpipe, Bosch, Kernel and others. All of them showcased their areas of activity and career opportunities for young people.
