The Premio Eccellenza Formazione (PEF) honours organisations whose projects make a significant contribution to developing people, strengthening organisations and promoting innovation.

Metinvest was recognised for two HR initiatives that promote resilience, inclusion and employee well-being across the Group.

The Retain to Sustain project received a special mention by the jury as "Il Talento della Resilienza" (The Talent of Resilience) in the category Organization and Human Resources. The project was presented by Iryna Konstantynivska, HR Director of Metinvest Trametal SpA and Ferriera Valsider SpA, together with a colleague from Ukraine Hanna Stepchuk, Project Manager, Business Support Department.

The initiative focuses on strengthening organisational resilience through leadership development, mentoring, cross-cultural collaboration and employee support, helping retain talent and foster engagement during a period of unprecedented challenges.

Receiving the award, Iryna KONSTANTYNIVSKA said:

"For us, this award is not only a result but also confirmation that we are moving in the right direction by supporting our people during a difficult and uncertain time. The 'Retain to Sustain' project was born from one simple question: how can we protect our people and their talent when everything around us is unstable? We believe that resilience means not only withstanding challenges, but also growing stronger because of them."

Metinvest also received for its Well-being during war time project a special mention by the jury for "Valore Sociale, Solidale e Trasformativo" (Social, Solidarity and Transformative Value) in the category Health, Safety and Well-being.

The project was presented by Agnese Sommariva, HR Transformation Manager – People and Culture, from Genoa office, together with Ukrainian colleague Svitlana Parova, Project Manager, Sustainable Development and Community Relations Directorate.

The initiative supports employee well-being across the Group. In Ukraine, it focuses on the reintegration of veterans into professional and social life through psychological support, skills development and assistance for their families. In Italy, it promotes psychological safety, inclusion, gender equality, welfare initiatives and work-life balance.

Accepting the recognition, Agnese SOMMARIVA said:

"Although these initiatives respond to different realities, they are united by the same principle: putting people at the centre and building organisations based on resilience, respect and inclusion. This recognition belongs to everyone who contributed to the project, but above all to our Ukrainian colleagues, who have been living through the challenges of war for more than four years."

The two recognitions reflect Metinvest's commitment to investing in its people and building a resilient organisation.
