Zaporizhstal continues to implement the "Workplace Amenities" program, within which utility rooms for employees are being renovated.
In 2025, the company carried out major overhauls of sanitary and amenity rooms in the open‑hearth furnace shop, the instrumentation shop, the motor transport department, and the central electrotechnical laboratory; the repair of the sanitary and amenity room of the water supply shop is ongoing.
The total amount of investments in the renovation of the facilities in 2025 exceeds UAH 13 mln. The total area of the renovated premises will amount to 530 m², and at least 450 employees of the enterprise will use them.
In particular, the plant recently put into operation a renovated sanitary and amenity room of the open‑hearth shop with an area of over 280 m². The facility underwent the major overhaul, including full replacement of utility networks, window and door units, and sanitary equipment, as well as a complete set of finishing works. The premises were equipped with hair dryers and drying units, climate control systems, and new individual lockers for storing personal belongings have been installed. The renovated space will be used by 145 Zaporizhstal employees.

Employees of the open‑hearth furnace shop note that the amenity rooms have changed dramatically after the renovation. It has become bright, clean, and comfortable here.
"The result is very tangible. The amenity rooms have become bright, tidy, and comfortable – it’s pleasant to come back here after a shift. My colleagues and I also took part in the work: we helped with unloading and installing the lockers, and with the assembly work. It’s good that even under the current conditions the program continues to operate: the amenity rooms at the plant are gradually being renovated and modernized. And comfortable conditions are truly important for people,” noted Stanislav BIELIK, an engineer of the open‑hearth furnace shop.
The Workplace Amenities program will continue in 2026. As part of the program, further renovation of the sanitary and amenity premises in the open-hearth furnace shop and water supply shop is planned, along with the installation of water heaters and arrangement of a modern laundry facility.
As a reminder, Metinvest Group's Workplace Amenities corporate program, which involves the modernisation of amenity facilities in production units, has been operating at Zaporizhstal since 2012. During this period, more than 240 amenity premises have been renovated, with total investments exceeding UAH 260 million.
