The guys have already received their first work experience during pre-graduation internship at a coal enterprise.
For several months, future underground electrical fitters worked under the leadership of experienced mentors and collected materials for a graduation project, which they presented and successfully defended at the final exam. Further, lyceum students were waiting for no less important events - receiving a document on vocational education and writing an application for employment at CG "Pokrovske".
"Today,Pokrovsk Professional Lyceum is the only one of the four educational institutions in Donetsk region that continues to work and produce mining specialists," says the director of Pokrovsk Professional Lyceum Leonid KOSTYRIA. "In general, today, we have about 200 lyceum students who have chosen a mining profession. All of them not only receive basic and practical skills, but also have the opportunity to find a job at a modern coal enterprise".
Yevgen SOKOLOV:
"I decided to get this profession following the example of my father. He worked as an underground electrical fitter in the colliery group, and is now on a well-deserved rest. During the internship, I worked at RZO-3 section and performed various work - replacement of motors, oil and filters on outboard locomotives. I am very grateful for the support to my mentor, an experienced electrician Pavlo Davydenko".
Danylo KOROBEINYKOV:
"I worked at the Skip site and, with my senior colleagues, maintained mine equipment. At a time when companies are closing and reducing production, it is very difficult to find a job. Therefore, I am very pleased that I have the opportunity to find a job and further not only earn decent money, but also advance professionally in this area".
Dmytro IZIUMCHENKO:
"I defended my graduation project on MV-410 roadheader. All the necessary material for my graduation work was collected during the internship at the Repair of face equipment No. 2 site. I look forward to being able to become part of the team of CG "Pokrovske".
