Continuous improvement of the quality of education at Metinvest Polytechnic is always in focus. On March 28, a regional methodological seminar from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education was held in the National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic”. The event was attended by the deans, heads of departments and teachers of the Technical University "Metinvest Polytechnic". Seminar Topic is “Current issues of accreditation of educational programmes: cooperation with stakeholders and consistency of internal quality assurance policies."
Among the speakers at the event were Andrii Butenko, Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, Oleksandr Azyukovsky, Rector of the National Technical University Dnipro Polytechnic, and Hanna Reznik, Deputy Head of the National Qualifications Agency. During the seminar, the participants discussed important organizational issues and their development in operation. In particular, Andrii Butenko explained the role of the internal quality assurance system in the development of the university. Regarding the development pathway, the participants discussed post-accreditation monitoring and the European vector of Ukrainian higher education development, as well as the organisation of cooperation with stakeholders. Also, Mykola Trehub, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Work and Prospective Development of Dnipro Polytechnic, presented the guests with the best practices and a tour of the university's cooperation with employers.
Kostyantyn MOISEYENKO, head of the department of education quality management and international projects at Metinvest Polytechnic, added:

The deans and lecturers of Ukraine's first private mining and metallurgical university noted that such events definitely contribute to improving the quality of educational programmes, developing partnerships with other educational institutions and improving internal quality assurance policies.
