This week, Kryvyi Rih is hosting the Job Fair – a career event for high school and university students. Representatives of vocational, pre-secondary and higher education institutions in Kryvyi Rih, as well as representatives of universities from Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, gathered at the Metallurgists' Palace of Culture. Metinvest Polytechnic, the first modern Ukrainian private university, presented its location for the second time.
Encouraging young people to plan their future in Ukraine and make them interested in studying at Ukrainian educational institutions was the main goal of the career event organised in Kryvyi Rih. The task of education professionals is to present their educational institutions, inform their admission and study conditions.
"We offer our applicants a modern education, a flexible training system and further employment at the enterprises of Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine and beyond. Our institution is the only university in Ukraine that is fully integrated with business in terms of educational content. We graduate ready-made specialists who can start working from the first day," said Maksym SHTODA, Assistant Professor of the Department of Metallurgy, Materials Science and Industrial Management at Metinvest Polytechnic University.
The mining and metallurgical university has already announced the start of the 2024 admission campaign. Bachelor's and Master's degrees study in modern engineering and technical specialities will start in September, and courses to prepare for the National Multiple Subject Test (NMT) started in March.
According to Metinvest Polytechnic in addition to obtaining higher education on a contract basis, the university also offers the opportunity to study on Metinvest's behalf. This allows students to get an education at the customer's expense without spending their own money. The company covers the cost of education for its employees and their children, as well as for students who are willing to work at the company's production facilities during and after their studies.
In total, the organisers of the Job Fair 2024 expect more than 5,000 graduates of Kryvyi Rih schools and vocational schools to attend the event between 25 and 30 March.
