Metinvest Polytechnic has published the first issue of the "Technical Sciences" series journal

Metinvest Polytechnic Technical University is strengthening its presence in the scientific and technical fields with the release of the inaugural issue of its "Scientific Journal of Metinvest Polytechnic. Series: Technical Sciences". The journal's publication has created a new platform for exchanging publications and sharing research findings.

The idea for this journal was initiated by Rector Oleksandr Povazhnyi, aligning with the university's mission to enhance the quality of engineering science and education, and to foster a closer connection between the scientific community and business. The new publication aims to cover innovative research in materials science, metallurgy, automation, robotics, ecology, mining and civil safety. The journal has an international scope, with an editorial board that includes scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Australia and China.

The journal benefits from international scientific expertise and covers a diverse range of topics

The editor-in-chief of the new journal is Professor Eduard Grybkov, with Vice-Rector for Research, Volodymyr Kukhar, serving as his deputy. "We have created a space where every author can present their innovative ideas. This is crucial for the development of science at both the university and in Ukraine as a whole. Our aim is not only to publish research but also to ensure it has a meaningful impact," Mr. Kukhar emphasized.

The inaugural issue of the journal presents a wide range of articles tackling some of the most pressing challenges in the field of technical sciences. The journal features research in key areas such as "Materials Science," "Metallurgy," "Mining," "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics," "Environmental Protection Technologies" and "Civil Safety."

"The publication of the first issue is just the start. We're actively working on attracting new authors, expanding our research focus, and getting the journal listed in international scientific databases. We have the potential to make this happen," shared the Vice-Rector for Research.

We are embracing the international community and welcoming fresh ideas

Publishing in both Ukrainian and English expands the journal’s potential for international collaboration, enabling Ukrainian scientists to share their research and receive feedback from experts around the world.

The first issue is now available for review, and the editorial board is actively working to expand and enhance the journal's scientific scope.
