A friendly streetball competition in Zaporizhzhia brought together students and young professionals from city enterprises.

Representatives from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Zaporizhstal, ZCMW and other Zaporizhzhia businesses took part in the event. 

In total, around 50 athletes and supporters took part in the event. Victory went to the team from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. Second place went to the metallurgists of Zaporizhstal, while the mixed team from Veladis claimed third. 

Acting head of the plant’s youth organisation, Serhii Petrov, noted that such events have already become an annual tradition. 

"We aim to create opportunities for young workers and students to come together. We organise not only sports competitions, but also intellectual quizzes. This is especially important today – to meet, share experiences and work together on new ideas," said Serhii PETROV.
