Metinvest Together! psychological service helps the Group’s employees

For more than two months, the unique Metinvest Together! service has been providing free psychological support to the Group’s employees and their families. In the first 60 days of the initiative, psychologists have provided around 200 individual consultations. In addition, more than 100 Metinvest employees have attended Strong Together! online group sessions.

When the war broke out, Metinvest launched comprehensive programmes to support employees and their families. The Group has focused on ensuring the safety of Ukrainians and meeting their essential needs, as well as supporting their psychological well-being and mental health. As part of these efforts, it has launched the Metinvest Together! service jointly with the Well-being Company. The initiative enables all Group employees and their families to receive free psychological support for as long as they need.

People can sign up for a psychological consultation through the corporate Telegram and Viber channels or by calling a hotline number. After that, an experienced coordinator will arrange an online meeting with the appropriate specialist. All psychologists who provide support are highly qualified, have a minimum of five years of experience in practical counselling and are full members of the professional association of psychologists.

In the 60 days that Metinvest Together! has been in operation, 55% of all applications received have been from women and 45% from men. Among them are employees of production assets (36%), office workers (34%), managers of different levels (16%) and relatives of Metinvest employees (14%). Personal information about the people accessing the service is strictly confidential. People mostly ask questions about the war and how to overcome these difficult times.

The psychological service also organises Strong Together! online group sessions with psychologists that can be accessed from a computer or a mobile device. The sessions allow people to express themselves or listen to others, receive information about how to support themselves and their loved ones, as well as find friends.
