This year Nadiia and Borys Trygub are celebrating the eighth spring together, but this is the first time when the three of them are doing it together. At the end of October 2023, the CGOK production site foreman and pelletizing plant conveyor operator's daughter was born. About family memories and family joys – in an interview with a young mother.
Strong and tender at the same time, bright and hard-working, kind and persistent women work in the teams of Metinvest enterprises. Since 2015, Nadiia Trygub’s favourite place of work has been the pelletizing plant at CGOK. Her husband also works here. She is responsible for the conveyor operation, and he controls the process of firing pellets – those premium ones that are the business card of the plant.
“We became a couple in the spring, and before that we worked at the same company for half a year, but never met. However, I knew Oleksandr, Borys’s brother. Oleksandr immediately struck me as a very positive person: a sportsman, without bad habits, devoted to his family. I once jokingly asked if he had a brother. It turned out that he had, but he was not in the city because he went to a competition. One day we met by chance at the gym, and a couple of months later he found my phone number somewhere. We had our first real date in the spring,” Nadiia recalls, smiling.
Three years ago, the beautiful couple finally got married. Then a full-scale war began. Despite all the challenges, Nadiia and Borys believe that life should not be put off until later, so they consciously decided to become parents. The talented armwrestler Borys dreamt of a son, but a daughter was born and stole her father’s heart from the first moment.
“I observe unconditional mutual love of little Adelia and her dad. Only he can calm her down when she is capricious. He is already planning how he will teach his daughter to play chess. He will definitely take her to a sports section himself. He will teach her mathematics and geography, because he is very good at these subjects,” notes Adelia’s mother.
The couple has only bright plans for the future. They don’t let each other come unstuck, because now they have even more to live for. Borys wants to continue working at the plant. He has a good career there and an excellent team. After receiving the title of the best sinter worker, he worked for some time as a foreman, and now as the head of the production site. Nadiia also talks about her team with great affection. She says that all the ladies are very friendly. We wish the married couple to be each other’s support for many years and to meet many more happy springs as a close-knit family.
