Occupational safety during production tasks is a priority. Kamet-Steel, together with experts from Metinvest Polytechnic, organised two-day training sessions on the top risks of lifting equipment. The participants were line managers of the plant's divisions. After all, they are the main link between the plant's managers, from whom production tasks are received, and the direct executors – the workforce. That is why it is so important for them to have technical knowledge of the safety of work using lifting mechanisms, to be able to correctly assess possible risks before starting such work and, at the same time, to correctly analyse and provide information to the employees performing the work. The equipment has passed the necessary inspection and is ready to go to the mine.The machines are designed for leveling the soil in mine workings, as well as for loading the loosened rock mass onto a belt or scraper conveyor. This equipment is indispensable during mining operations, as it is used both in coal mining and in drifting.That is why it is important to have a spare reserve in order to use a dinting machine on demand in a particular area of work. In PEM-1 shop, several machines can be repaired at the same time. Some machines come after a major overhaul in the plant, but most machines are repaired using own resources.
