Under the "Bring a Friend" program, 350 new employees came to Metinvest Integrated Iron Ore in 2025

For the third year in a row, employees of Metinvest iron ores have been participating in the "Bring a Friend" program – they invite their pals and friends, offering them a stable job with a decent income. The program helps enterprises find candidates for vacant positions in conditions of personnel shortages. For the first time in Ukraine, the rolling mill workers of Kamet-Steel have started production of channel No.16 using the tube billet mill. The mastering of new shaped sections continues as part of the recovery programme for Metinvest's product mix, partially lost because of the war. Channel 16U is a high-margin product in demand on the market and widely used in construction, as well as in the machine-building and shipbuilding industries. This type of product was produced at Metinvest's enterprises before the war. Kamet Steel transferred nearly UAH 2 billion to budgets at all levels over the course of the year

For the fourth year amid war threats and energy challenges, Kamet Steel has remained a strong pillar of the Ukrainian economy and the main contributor to the city budget. In 2025, the metallurgical enterprise transferred more than UAH 1 billion 957 million in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels. The budget of the city of Kamianske received over UAH 744 million from Kamet Steel, which is UAH 105 million more than in 2024. More than UAH 1 billion 213 million was transferred to the regional and state budgets. The lion’s share of tax revenues to the local and state treasuries from the city’s leading metallurgical enterprise in 2025 was provided by: – the single social tax, which amounted to nearly UAH 588 million(+28% vs 2024) – personal income tax – nearly UAH 502 million UAH (+27% vs 2024) – land tax, which increased by almost UAH 44 million compared with 2024 and effectively amounted to nearly UAH 430 million (+11% vs 2024). Metinvest and the Heart of Azovstal initiative will continue supporting Mariupol’s defenders until the last captive returns

Metinvest Group, together with Rinat Akhmetov’s charitable initiative Heart of Azovstal, will continue to support the defenders of Mariupol until the last of them returns home from captivity. Metinvest’s Chief Operating Officer, Oleksandr Myronenko, made this pledge at the Heart of Azovstal: Growing Together conference in Kyiv on 18 February. The conference marked the project’s third anniversary and set out its plans for 2026. Over the past three years, Heart of Azovstal – part of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative – has supported more than 8,000 Mariupol defenders. They have received over 28,000 instances of assistance. Among other services, this includes physical and psychological rehabilitation, prosthetics, dedicated apartments for defenders with Group I and II disabilities, and support with education and employment.
