Metinvest’s humanitarian hub in Zaporizhia prepares 1.1 million essential aid packages for Ukrainians
Since the start of the full-scale war, Metinvest’s humanitarian hub, established at Zaporizhstal plant, has assembled and distributed 1.1 million food and hygiene aid packages to Ukrainians. In 2024 alone, the plant’s volunteers prepared approximately 144,000 humanitarian kits for people affected by the war.The humanitarian assistance is provided as part of the Saving Lives programme of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Saving Lives humanitarian project run by Metinvest in coordination with the Foundation. The aid is distributed across Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and other regions.“The humanitarian hub at Zaporizhstal focuses on supporting those who find themselves in dire straits. We strive to meet the basic needs of people in frontline regions and internally displaced persons, helping them overcome the hardships of war.
