Central GOK continues to upgrade equipment for the stable operation of the enterprise. One of the areas of work is the modernization of the crushing plant. For the implementation of the comprehensive repair of the unit, Meitninvest Group allocated more than UAH 5 mln.At the crushing plant, the specialists replaced the conveyor belts - this will ensure the trouble-free operation of the equipment and the stability of the production plan. The work was carried out on two main conveyors, which play key roles in the technological process of the plant."A new belt with a length of 196 meters was installed on the M-2 conveyor; it transports ore from the second stage of grinding to the third and fourth ones. The productivity of this belt reaches 3,000 tonnes per hour. It ensures the operation of all four ore grinding paths, and the coherence of all production processes of the crushing plant depends on its stable operation. Metinvest B.V., the parent company of an international vertically integrated group of steel and mining companies (jointly referred to as “Metinvest” or “the Group”), today announces the successful launch of a new accounts receivable securitisation programme for its Italian re-rollers, Metinvest Trametal and Ferriera Valsider. The transaction will allow to finance a pool of accounts receivable up to EUR 50 million. The facility has a maximum tenor of five years and a one-year rolling commitment. It will support sales in the EU and improve the working capital position of Italian re-rollers of the Group.The transaction has been structured by Banca Akros S.p.A (Gruppo Banco BPM) through an Italian Law 130/99 special purpose vehicle. It involves the issuance of partially paid variable funding senior notes, backed by a portfolio of trade receivables originated by Metinvest Trametal and Ferriera Valsider. Banco BPM S.p.A. through Banca Akros S.p.A. acts as senior investor in the transaction.
