War Veterans’ Team Led by Zaporizhstal Employee Wins Chess Tournament

Zaporizhstal employee and veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war Oleksandr Yermakov led a military team to victory at the 2026 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Cup charity chess tournament.The competition took place in Kyiv and brought together teams of servicemen, schoolgirls, Members of Parliament, university rectors, and representatives of local communities. The purpose of the tournament was to raise funds in support of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.Oleksandr YERMAKOV has many years of experience in chess and holds the position of Vice President of Zaporizhzhia Regional Chess Federation. He is a winner of corporate chess tournaments and a three-time Ukrainian champion among combat veterans. Young Employees of Metinvest's Integrated Iron Ore Plants Opened the Cycling Season

Employees of Metinvest's enterprises in Kryvyi Rih have a long-standing tradition of opening the annual cycling season together, and this year was no exception. Warm weather and sunny days provided an excellent opportunity for active leisure and group bike rides for young employees of Integrated Iron Ore Plants.This time, seven participants joined the sporting initiative: four employees from Central Iron Ore and three from Northern Iron Ore.
