The first step to education at Metinvest Polytechnic: registration for the National Multitest starts on 6 March

Вступ до Метінвест Політехніки починається з важливого етапу – реєстрації на Національний мультипредметний тест (НМТ). Для тих, хто обирає освітні програми бакалаврського рівня, складання НМТ є обов’язковим, за винятком ветеранів та пільгових категорій, які можуть пройти спрощену процедуру вступу через співбесіду. Основний період реєстрації для участі у національному мультипредметному тесті триватиме з 6 березня до 3 квітня включно.6 березня на сайті Українського центру оцінювання якості освіти стане доступним спеціальний сервіс, за допомогою якого потенційні учасники НМТ матимуть змогу створити персональний кабінет. Це можна зробити автоматично за допомогою застосунку Дія або ж шляхом заповнення форми в реєстраційному сервісі. Для зареєстрованих учасників основна сесія тестування відбудеться з 14 травня по 25 червня. Practical session in Kryvyi Rih: Metinvest Polytechnic students gain experience in open pit mining operations

Для студентів Метінвест Політехніки, які навчаються за освітньою програмою «Відкрита розробка родовищ», відбулася практична офлайн-сесія в Кривому Розі. Протягом тижня на Північному ГЗК студенти мали можливість ознайомитися з технологічними процесами відкритих гірничих робіт, вивчаючи основні технологічні процеси в кар’єрі, а також впровадження ресурсозберігаючих та маловідходних технологій.Головною частиною заходу стала практика на майданчику екскаваторної дільниці, де студенти змогли побачити роботу техніки та вивчити основні етапи гірничих робіт, від буріння до навантаження та вивезення гірничої маси. Олександр Смірнов, заступник начальника з технології та якості Ганнівського кар’єра Північного ГЗК, зазначив, що вдалося успішно провести цілу низку практичних занять, зокрема продемонструвати роботу рідкісного для Кривого Рогу крокуючого екскаватора та показати весь цикл розвантаження залізничної «вертушки». Metinvest and Zaporizhstal fund training for teachers and educators in Hibuki Therapy in Zaporizhia

The international psychological support project for children, Hibuki Therapy, continues to be implemented in Zaporizhia. The initiative is led by Zaporizhia. Joint Action Platform CSO with financial support from Metinvest Group and Zaporizhstal, in cooperation with Zaporizhia City Council’s Department of Education and Science.This year, 30 psychologists, educators and nursery teachers from Zaporizhia schools and preschools, along with 10 psychologists from the public sector, will take part in the programme. Participants were selected through a competitive process. Support for the economy: Metinvest recognises the work of the pelletizing plant's team at Central Iron Ore

According to the results of the work done last year, the team of the pelletizing plant at Central Iron Ore was awarded a certificate of honour and a financial incentive from Metinvest Group as one of the best divisions among all Iron Ore plants. The team honourably concluded the year and began 2025 with high productivity and operational improvements.Particularly, the operational program fulfilment ensured a high assessment of their work. Throughout 2024, the pelletizing plant maintained 100% capacity utilization, with the shop operating at its maximum productivity of up to 298 tons of pellets per hour. In total, the plant produced about 2.2 million tonnes of high-quality products. The pellets were shipped to the European market and internal customers.During the year, some investment projects at the pelletizing plant were implemented to ensure stable production. Metinvest's Kryvyi Rih plants continue to welcome back veterans returning from the Russo-Ukrainian war. One of them is Valerii Kropova, an employee of Central Iron Ore. Valerii is a role model – a champion of war veterans’ competitions and a dedicated employee in the repair and operations shop. The war veteran shared his story: how he was injured, returned to work, received a prosthesis, and now plans his sporting weekends months in advance.The same dayUntil recently, he served in the glorious 17th Separate Kryvyi Rih Tank Brigade named after Kostiantyn Pestushko. Zaporizhstal allocated UAH 938 million to maintain its production facilities in 2024 and plans to increase investments to UAH 1.1 billion

Zaporizhstal of Metinvest Group, according to the enterprise's investment programme, carried out major overhauls of its main production units in 2024, as well as implemented investment projects in occupational health and safety, information technology, and the social sphere, totalling UAH 938 million.Among the key equipment renovation projects implemented in 2024 was the repair of blast furnaces No.2, No.3, and No.4, with total investments exceeding UAH 230 million. Similar investments were directed toward completing a complex of capital repairs on the main rolling mill units.The enterprise completed a major overhaul of equipment for two sinter machines, including the revision of environmental equipment. Additionally, a number of investment projects aimed at digitalising production processes and upgrading IT infrastructure were implemented.
