"The topic of artificial intelligence is extremely important today, as it defines the directions of development not only in technology, but also in education, science, and international cooperation. It is essential for us to be engaged in these processes, to understand new trends, and to apply the knowledge we gain in our work. I am convinced that the development of AI opens tremendous opportunities for Ukraine."
Metinvest Polytechnic trains IT specialists at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. The bachelor’s program offers Computer Science, while the master’s program focuses on Computer Science and Digital Intelligence. Industry experts from Metinvest Digital and other IT companies are actively involved in the educational process, allowing students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also a clear understanding of how AI and digital technologies are applied in real business cases. In cooperation with Dnipro University of Technology, the university also launched a Summer School together with Metinvest Digital and leading IT companies: over 100 students from both universities spent two weeks immersed in the world of AI, programming, and digital technologies for real production – through lecture-workshops and live discussions with industry practitioners.

"Artificial intelligence is essential for the future of engineering and production. I It serves as a valuable assistant, aiding in everything from manufacturing optimization to the development of novel digital products. Consequently, our university is heavily investing in its AI learning program, employing contemporary online platforms, acquiring licensed software, and offering students practical experience with these technologies, according to Pavlo SAHAIDA, a Professor in the Department of Digital Technologies and Project-Analytical Solutions.
Participation in Future Code: Metinvest Polytechnic lecturers were able to examine current AI trends and identify potential applications for these technologies within the university's academic curricula and research initiatives.
