The final link in the production chain of the plant is Cold Rolling Shop. There, the team of seven process departments – pickling, rolling, heat-treatment, skin pass, tin plate, the third department, Sulphuric and Regeneration Unit and the product shipment section, as well as the team of the engineering service – prepares cold-rolled products for shipment to the consumer. This is skilfully done by the specialists of the shop and this is confirmed by the results of the shop for 2024. The Cold Rolling Shop professional implemented solutions for operational improvements, which brought $ 590 ths in savings – a significant contribution to joint work to improve competitiveness.

First of all, rolling mill workers are working to reduce the metal consumption rate (MCR). In particular, last year, a team of initiative rolling mill workers within the framework of the SPP introduced into production a new technology for the production of sheets with a thickness of 2.3-2.5 mm. Now the metal first goes through all the stages of processing in the form of a coil, and only then it is cut into sheets and prepared for shipment to the consumer. This helped to reduce the MCR level and achieve savings of more than $ 7.5 ths per year.

In particular, Serhiy Lekovskyi, Eduard Zhdan, Serhiy Zotov, Serhiy Sokirchenko, Andriy Filippov, Yevhen Elmendeev, Oleksandr Mitasov, Nikita Antonov, Volodymyr Tkachuk, Artem Perevalov, Andriy Voinovskyi, Serhiy Semenov, Kyrylo Dzhus work at the sections of the shop.
