Life during the war is full of dangers. In addition to the most terrible threat – shelling – there is still the possibility of stumbling upon mines, explosives and unexploded shells or drone fragments. Therefore, it is important to clearly understand how to behave in case of detection of explosive objects.
For Zaporizhstal employees, online lectures and trainings on mine safety, as well as comprehensive trainings with the participation of specialists of the State Emergency Service are systematically organized. Recently, line managers of the plant's divisions were held information sessions with the involvement of specialists from the Mine Action Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

The classes are short, but meaningful. During the training, experts talk about the types of explosive objects, emphasize the basic safety rules, explain the algorithm of actions in emergency situations and give real examples of dangers that can happen in the Zaporizhzhia region.
"Of course, for the fourth year of the full-scale war, we have heard a lot about mine danger, but it is never superfluous to repeat this knowledge, because it is vital. In the current conditions, they can be useful both at work and outside the plant," said Oleksandr POBEREZHNYI, Senior Foreman of Cold Rolling Shop.
