The workplace amenities programme continues at the Group's enterprises even under the challenging circumstances brought about by the ongoing war. On the verge of the New Year, Kamet-Steel's BOF Shop overhauled and put into operation the amenity rooms of the continuous casting machine area.
The opening of the renovated amenity rooms was attended by Kamet-Steel's General Director, Oleksandr Tretiakov, and HR and Social Affairs Director, Ivan Holtvenko, to personally inspect the comfortable conditions created for steelworkers.
There is really something to see. Contemporary interiors fitted out in line with the brand identity boast shining new tiles, mirrors, modern plumbing fixtures, and double-glazed windows. The modern flooring technology was used, and the heating, lighting and ventilation systems replaced. New individual lockers, hairdryers, and hand dryers were installed - everything is ready to accommodate employees in a comfortable environment.
"The company has been steadily implementing a programme to improve the working conditions for our employees. In particular, at Kamet-Steel, despite the military, economic and logistical challenges, we continue to invest in social commitments - for the benefit of our employees, to improve their stay at the enterprise and to meet their workplace amenities needs," said Maksym TYSHCHENKO, Head of the Social Infrastructure Department at Metinvest Group.
