Central Iron Ore Enrichment Works has renovated a mess room in the amenity building of the Artemivskyi open pit mine and mining and transport shop No. 2.
The renovated room is part of the dining area, with a cafeteria, milk dispenser and drinking water purification system nearby. The renovation work was carried out as part of the Employee Welfare programme. From now on, all employees of the industrial site can take advantage of the opportunity to heat up home-cooked meals, prepare hot drinks and have lunch in the cafeteria in a cosy and comfortable atmosphere.
During the reconstruction of the building with a total area of 225 m2, the power supply, lighting and heating systems were replaced. A modern ventilation and air conditioning system was also installed. The room complies with all sanitary and hygienic standards and is equipped with the necessary modern furniture and appliances.
"Despite the current adversities, we are systematically working to create and maintain comfortable working conditions for Central GOK's employees. The issues of improving employee welfare and well-being are not put on the back burner but are addressed alongside production tasks. The joint activities of all structural units and services of our enterprise are aimed at increasing the number of improved facilities and preserving and carefully maintaining all repaired and renovated facilities. Our goal is to create decent working and leisure conditions for all employees so that everyone feels comfortable and safe. And this is the key to productive work and good mood," said Dmytro SHEVCHYK, General Director of Metinvest Group's Central GOK.
