Metinvest Group was included in the ranking of the ten best employers in Ukraine according to dsnews.ua.
According to the publication, these are the companies that respond most effectively to modern challenges and trends. The selection was based on multivariate analysis: from financial stability and labour remuneration levelv to the depth of social programs and willingness to work with veterans. The publication also evaluated the efforts of companies in the field of training and their ability to adapt to technology shifts.
According to the publication, Metinvest Group remains one of the main employers in Ukraine, uniting about 50 thousand employees. The average salary at its enterprises is higher than in Ukraine as a whole, and amounts to UAH 32 thousand, and for the main technical professions — UAH 41 thousand (indexation is carried out annually above the inflation rate). In 2025, salaries increased by 15%, and in general, since the beginning of the full-scale war, by 48%.
Employees are provided with medical insurance, a system of production and team bonuses, as well as programs of financial assistance to newly wedded couples and parents. For the sake of safety, shelters (with water, food and medicine) have been set up at enterprises, and AI tools have been introduced to control health and safety.
The Group invests in personnel development. Metinvest Polytechnic University, in which UAH 513 million has been invested, has already graduated 267 masters. At the beginning of 2026, the university (more precisely, at Kamet Steel) opened a modern Schneider Electric training module for the study of automation systems. To attract young people, there are scholarship programs (for example, "Steel Future") and payments up to UAH 50 thousand during the year under the "First Workplace" program.
An important area is the support of veterans and mobilized colleagues, of whom there are more than 8000 in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (every sixth employee). The company has a reintegration ecosystem, which, among other things, includes physical rehabilitation, free training and retraining programs, and preferential conditions for admission to Metinvest Polytechnic. More than UAH 240 million has been spent to treat the wounded and help the families of those killed since the beginning of the full-scale war.
All employees can use the "Metinvest – Together" psychological assistance service, which provides consultations of psychotherapists paid for by the company. The program provides individual, family, and children's sessions, as well as specialized support from military psychologists for veterans and their families.
The ranking in alphabetical order presents players from various industries – from the agricultural sector and production to telecommunications and retail. In addition to Metinvest, the list also includes EVA, Farmak, McDonald's in Ukraine, Kyivstar, Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine and other companies.
