The plant held a meeting with representatives of Metinvest Polytechnic, during which employees were told about the possibilities of obtaining specialized education on-the-job.

The event was attended by employees seeking to improve their skills or get an education in accordance with their position, succession pool members for key production positions, as well as employees together with their children-school leavers. Special attention was paid to the conditions of admission and the teach format. 

The participants received practical advice on the admission campaign, including assistance in registering for NMT for those who plan to join this year. Representatives of the university explained in detail the available educational programs, opportunities for further employment and career development within Metinvest Group.

Education leading to a career

Metinvest Polytechnic is the first private mining and metallurgical university in Ukraine, founded by Metinvest Group in 2020. Despite the full-scale war, the first admission of students took place in the autumn of 2022, and this year the fifth admission campaign starts. Those who consciously choose technical majors that are in demand in the labour market study here.

Modern digital technologies, integration with production and a practice-oriented approach form a new model of engineering education in Ukraine.

Soon, the university will approve the Admission Rules-2026 and a new enrolment will begin for educational programs for future bachelors, masters, postgraduates, as well as for the level of "professional junior bachelor" – without first passing the NMT.
